This outfit had an easy breezy feel to it that perfectly suited my mood on the first unseasonably warm day of the year. By late afternoon the wind gusts had picked up to 75 km/hour so I was very glad to have settled on a long skirt that day! And in true Canadian fashion, by the time I went to bed, it was snowing. Has spring sprung where you are yet?

I really love the simplicity of this outfit. It's simple, but so pretty and feminine. I love this skirt! Spring is teasing us with warm or cold. It's like a roller coaster! Heather
ReplyDeleteIt looks so comfy! I love the skirt and comfy tee combo! Super pretty
ReplyDeleteI've been hearing (and seeing a lot of pics on IG) about the crazy winter/spring/whatever you all are having up north. That's insane! It's still "cold" here in IL, but sometimes it gets muggy because... it's Illinios. UGH.
ReplyDeleteI do love your outfit a lot, Kat! I have been wanting to try the pretty pastel color blocking look, but I haven't integrated any lavenders in my wardrobe (yet) :) That skirt is stunning and I love that you've mixed materials for a great contrast!

kat, it reminds me of a ballerina. i like it! girl it's been so hot in texas lately. i wish pleasant spring would come back.
ReplyDeleteUgh, it does seem like winter is taking it's sweet time in departing. (So, so ready for summer, we still have huge snow piles and just a few thawed out spots here, we got two inches of snow last night but most of it melted off this morning.)
ReplyDeleteI really love everything out this out. Long, graceful maxi skirt with a tee shirt? That's just perfection and I love you simple accessories with the sandals and the long pendant.
This is such a gorgeous look on you Kat, flowy and dreamy. I love the colours of your toes and the side braid is too adorable! Thank goodness it is hot in Ottawa now (although we seem to have skipped spring and went straight to summer!)
ReplyDeleteFrom sunny skies to 75 km winds and snow? That sounds like Canadian weather! In spite of the adverse conditions, you managed to look truly lovely - I love the pearly shade of your skirt!
