Trend trial run: Short sleeve over long

I'm not sure how I feel about this one. The thrifted BCBG pants are a favourite of mine for work, and I like that I've incorporated some punchy colours but overall I feel my outfit's a little...MEH. Anyways, I'm putting it out there in the blog world and those of you enjoying a quiet Friday evening by your computers can feel free to agree...or disagree.

    I usually post my 'meh' outfits, just because I want my blog to be a realistic portrayal of how I dress. And sometimes what I'm wearing is just 'meh'. It's a good way to learn from my outfit mistakes anyway, and other folks can give advice or opinions which can be nice.

    This is really cute- I think I would like it even more with just the coral blouse- what a great colour! I posted a meh outfit today, it's reality that we don't always love what we wear!

    I think it's great that you went ahead and posted your "meh" look! The blogs that only post professionally lighted, beautifully posed and put-together looks seem distant to me - you posting something that you're not sure about keeps it real, you know? Besides, isn't learning what does and doesn't work for us what this whole blog thing is about?! ...my 2 cents :)
    I think the only thing I don't like about this outfit is the short-sleeve over long-sleeve - maybe if you did it with a more fitted long sleeve tee? Anyway I love the color combo - that scarf is gorgeous! And those BCBG pants are great!
