Pencil skirts and high-necked lace blouses

I was happy to discover the curve-creating powers of this outfit - strategic seaming on the skirt, delicate ruffles at the neck and sleeves and a waist-cinching wide belt. I twisted my hair into a French roll to play up the retro vibe.

What are your curve-enhancing (or downplaying) tips?

  1. This is by far one of my favourite outfits of yours. I love the belt and that lace/sheer top is exquisite

  2. What a lovely, feminine ensemble - I especially love the lace blouse. And that French roll! I have dreams of being able to put my hair up like that, but it's just too thick and heavy. Pencil skirts are the sort of thing I tend to tread carefully around, precisely because of their curve enhancing properties, which I really don't need. But the effect on you is just perfect. Very Mad Men :)
