Turning 30

Today's my last day as a twenty-something, but I'm not going to wax nostalgic about the past decade or get philosophical about turning 30. I will make a wish, and that's that the next 10 years be as soul-expanding as the past 10. I've worked really hard to build the life I now enjoy, but I couldn't have done it with the support of my loved ones - friends and family alike - behind me. And I'm very thankful for that.

I'll be celebrating my birthday on a getaway weekend to Montreal planned by B. After a night of dining à deux, I'll get to spend Saturday morning at the spa, courtesy of my father-in-law. Then B and I will probably stroll around the city, and spend the afternoon relaxing by the pool hotel. Later that night we're meeting up with friends (I haven't been told who) for dinner and dancing. My family got in on the birthday action too, getting together with B to chip in to replace my stolen bike. Wishing you all a lovely weekend!
