Meandering in Montmartre

When I first posted this cozy wrap sweater, I predicted it would become a favourite piece for travelling. And indeed it has. As these photos were taken a big windstorm was starting to blow in over the UK and France was getting the tail end. I was glad for extra layers in the form of a goose down jacket and tall boots, plus a warm beverage in hand.

I was trekking up the hill in Montmartre for stunning views over the city amidst narrow cobblestone lanes, street artists and crêpe hawkers. As those of you who follow Coco and Vera's blog know, this city is truly magical. It oozes charm in every intricately carved wrought-iron post, every pitch-perfect Parisian accent and every pillow-soft croissant au beurre. My photos of Montmartre were mediocre (it was hard to hold my iphone steady with the wind!) so instead I leave you with that most iconic of Paris landmarks, the Eiffel Tower, as seen from the Trocadéro a few days prior.
